This is a major development, measuring 32,000 square metres, which is located in the Ukrainian city of Dnepropetrovsk.
The Bogolyubov Foundation funded the construction of the Menorah Centre, a 32,000 square meters development built around the Golden Rose Synagogue. The stunning design, incorporating seven towers, echoes the symbolic Menorah candelabrum.
With completion of construction and opening of the Centre in October 2012 Dnepropetrovsk, and indeed the entire Jewish community of Ukraine, has received a multi-purpose, state-of-the-art complex which includes a community centre, museum, shops, kosher restaurants, leisure facilities, offices, apartments, a hotel and more. The Menorah Centre is named by media as the world's largest Jewish centre.
